Sorry for my absence...

Gee whiz doesn't time fly when your havin fun... not... I'm sorry I haven't been here lately, with 2 kids sick then myself then my husband, then with just everyday life, it hasn't left much time for anything else... but I have manged to make a card for my sister's birthday last week...

My sister bought herself a 'Cuttlebug' not so long ago, so I thought I would borrow it and try it out... you know to see if I myself would like one... lol... Anyways I did try it out and I just love it... Christmas Wish List I thinks...

So for her birthday I bought a couple of Cuttlebug Embossing folders and used one on her card (I had to make sure they worked...lol) So here is her card...

As you can see I used "swiss dots" on pink cardstock mounted on white bazzill. I then used a couple of flower dies she had from "Papertrey Ink" and cut them from leftover corrugated cardboard, felt and tulle then placed them together with a button and embroidery floss and placed small brads on the smaller flowers. The saying was stamped from "Papertrey Inks" 'Everyday Button Bits" stamp set with black ink on white bazzill then hand cut into shape.

I'll try not to be so long between posts next time... (fingers crossed...)
